I have a 1999 F-350 diesel and I am curious about using Synthetic motor oil in my truck. I have asked several people and no clear answer yet. Since each oil change requires 15 Qts. I would like to be sure of its acceptibility

Yes! Synthetic oil is excellent for the Power Stroke Diesel. Take a look at the recommendations for using Amsoil Synthetic oil in the PSD on the home page of this site. Amsoil synthetic has produced a high performance API rated diesel oil for over 20 years. I have sold literally thousands of gallons of Amsoil diesel oil over the years and have a large number of loyal customers. Take a look at the literature available here on the lubepage and please note the extended drain intervals for Amsoil.
